What would happen If we started to see life as precious, valuable, and exciting. I am grateful for the gift of life, for something as simple as waking up this morning.
So, if you woke up this morning then there is still a chance for you to enjoy life. This is more than just another Plant Based Blog. Yes we are vegan, eating Living foods, and trying to stay healthy. Which by our standards is eating a Plant Based Lifestyle. Eating living foods, like vegetables, fruits, nuts, seeds and oh did I say vegetables lol.
These foods sustain us and help us to live a healthy and more productive life.
I leave you with this quote.
Every day is a gift, that’s why they call it the present.
We have all heard it said, that the definition of insanity is to do the same thing over and over again and expect different results. The reality is that most people already know what they are eating is not helping their condition. Whether it be heart disease, diabetes or whatever the case. We are creatures of habit.
We have had several favorite dishes in our childhood memories. These can be remind us of loved ones that are no longer with us or those who are but are sick because of food born sicknesses.
We have to be willing to change the way we see food. I get it, the fried chicken and Mac and cheese remind us of how grandmas cooking was like. Seeing this epidemic of food born illnesses like diabetes and heart disease should tell us that something has to change. We are loosing so many people physically and mentally from food born diseases. When all that needs to be done is a lifestyle change.
This site is much more than a Plant Based Blog. This site is about my journey to a healthier and better quality life. Sharing this with others can encourage those who are interested in trying this lifestyle to do so, as well as encourage others as they see their results.
All I ask is that you share this with a friend who is struggling with diabetes or heart disease and any other food born illness.
Be encouraged 😀
Just wanted to post this…
Here in the Western world the obesity rate is on the rise. I was listening to a radio show the other day and the announcer said that obesity is on the rise, especially in children as young as 4 years old. The reasoning he gave, was that kids these days don’t have access to a proper diet and exercise. Wow…
My first question is how does a child not have Access to exercise? (I understand access to healthy food, to an extent). You don’t need a gym membership to exercise.
There are a lot of things to do to stay active, without needed a gym membership.
The point is to get up and move. ”This is in addition to reducing or removing the processed food, animal protein, and dairy that cause a lot of our health issue.
